The records concerning the manuscript “Cantate 32bis” (olim 35.4.29) preserved in the library of the Conservatory ‘San Pietro a Maiella’ in Naples are now online.
The manuscript, compiled by several copyists, dates back to the first half of the 18th century. It contains 35 solo cantatas (Soprano or Alto) by the following Authors: A. Scarlatti, G. Bononcini, E. Astorga, D. Bigaglia, N. Porpora, A.M. Bononcini, A. Ariosti, A. Lotti, B. Marcello, L. Leo, A. Tinazzoli, N. Romaldi, F. Fiorino, S. Leporati, G. Fischietti. The last owner of the manuscript was the lawyer, politician, man of letters and passionate librettist Leopoldo Tarantini (1811-1882).
