Records related to the Manuscript V.197 of The Museo Internazionale e Biblioteca della Musica di Bologna are now available online.
The manuscript dates back to the late 17th century and the early 18th Centuries, but on the c. 1v is possible to glimpse “1996”. It contains cantatas by Domenico Gabrielli and Francesco Ferrari and arias from the following operas: Perseo by Giacomo Antonio Perti, La schiava fortunata by Antonio Cesti, Pausania by Giovanni Legrenzi, Zenobia, Regina de' Palmireni by Tomaso Albinoni, La schiavitù fortunata and Almansorre in Alimena by Carlo Franesco Pollarolo, Amore fra gl’impossibili by Carlo Campelli. Its first owner was Francesco Maria Ferrari.
