Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter "Regulation" or "GDPR"), this page describes how personal data of users visiting this website is processed. The website is accessible at the following addresses:

Data Controller

Legal basis for processing
The personal data collected and described in this notice is processed on the basis of the Data Controller's legitimate interest in verifying the quality of the services offered by the site (art. 6(1)(f) of the Regulation), and on the user's consent for the statistical purposes described below (art. 6(1)(a) of the Regulation).
Types of data processed and purposes
Navigation data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This data category includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers and terminals used by users, URI/URL addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numerical code indicating the server's response status, and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computing environment.
Such data is processed for the time strictly necessary to operate the site and in any case for no longer than seven days, except where required for the investigation of offences by the Judicial Authority.
Navigation statistics (Matomo)
The site uses Matomo, a self-hosted analytics tool, to understand how the site is used and improve its quality. The data collected is limited to:
- IP address, anonymised by masking the last 2 bytes (e.g. 93.45.0.0)
- pages visited, visit duration, navigation events
- country of origin (approximate geolocation)
- browser type, operating system, device
Statistics collected via Matomo are not shared with third parties.
Consent to statistical tracking is managed through the consent management panel (Klaro) displayed at the bottom of the page on first access. The user may modify their choices at any time via the "Privacy" link in the footer.
Data collected via Matomo is retained for a maximum of 13 months.
Technical cookies
The site uses session-based technical cookies, non-persistent, strictly necessary for safe and efficient navigation. These include:
- Drupal session cookies (to manage the user session)
- language preference cookies
- consent management system cookies (Klaro), to remember the user's preferences regarding cookies
Technical cookies do not require user consent under current legislation.
Data provided by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages to the contact addresses listed on this site results in the acquisition of the sender's contact details, necessary to respond, as well as any personal data included in the communications.
Data recipients and transfers
The personal data collected is not communicated to third parties nor transferred outside the European Union.
Rights of the data subject
Pursuant to articles 15-22 of the Regulation, the user has the right to:
- access their personal data (art. 15)
- obtain its rectification or erasure (arts. 16-17)
- restrict its processing (art. 18)
- object to its processing (art. 21)
- receive their data in a structured format (art. 20)
- withdraw consent at any time (art. 7(3))

The user also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
